Take a break, have some fun this summer!

As promised at last my family and I were back in Suffolk, Virginia. If last December the weather was not that quite good since it rained twice, this summer we had a great time for vacation.
Of course we had to make sure that our vehicles were in shape, my dad’s car had to have a new Dodge mirror and Dodge nerf bar before we set off to Suffolk. Suffolk is a rare blend of town and country living, with historic roots reaching back nearly for centuries. My family and I really had a great time in this refreshed downtown, a Main Street pulsing with exciting new places to shop and dine, and southern hospitality. It’s a city of pleasant villages with intriguing names like Chuckatuck, Driver, Holland and Whaleyville.
430 square miles makes it Virginia’s largest city and we did not run out of things to do, sites to see and places to have a good time.
Add to that we were able to explore even more at the Great Dismal Swamp an extremely important staging area for thousands of birds.
But then summer will certainly be over soon, and we have to go back to the city. I’m going to miss this place!
