Toray Ultrasuede America, Inc. (TUA) recently announced that the Alcantara interior material will be available in a wide range of vehicle models from Chrysler LLC including the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands.

According to Derick C. Fronda, Executive Director of TUA:
"We’ve been very excited to gain momentum this past year by working with the Big Three American automakers to make Alcantara(R) more widely available in the U.S., most recently in select Dodge and Jeep models. American automakers continue to expand their Alcantara(R) offering so consumers can experience the high quality and durability of the material."

The luxurious and versatile Alcantara material has been widely used in interior trims including door panels, headliners, seat covers, consoles, and or gear shift covers.

This interior material is now available on Chrysler LLC models including:

- 2008 Chrysler Pacifica Limited
- 2008 Chrysler Pacifica Signature
- Chrysler 300 SRT Design
- Chrysler 300C SRT-8
- Chrysler Town & Country Limited
- 2008 Dodge Charger SRT-8
- 2008 Dodge Charger R/T
- 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 R/T
- 2008 Dodge Magnum R/T
- 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8
- Jeep Commander Overland

I wonder if these 2008 Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep models will also feature EBC brake pads.
