Dana Supplies Drivetrain Feats for 2008 Jeep Liberty

Dana Corporation, a design, engineering, and manufacturing company of automotive products and systems has recently announced today that it has started to supply Chrysler LLC with Spicer drive train components like front and rear propshafts and front suspension modules. These technical products will be exclusively installed in the all-new 2008 Jeep Liberty SUV model. Dana Corporation has been supplying these type of drive train components for Jeep models for about five years now.

According to Michael J. Burns, Chairman and CEO of Dana Corporation:
"Dana has been supplying products for Jeep vehicles since they were first produced and is honored to be selected as an important supplier for 2008 Jeep Liberty. This vehicle program is another example of how Dana provides innovative solutions designed to exceed our customers’ expectations."

The Spicer Life Series front and rear propshafts reduces noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels of Jeep models. Other features and benefits include:

- Staked-and-centered cardan universal joints
- Reduced run-out for less rotational variance
- Improves crash performance
- Eliminates unwanted looseness
- Provides a smoother high-speed dynamic performance

In addition, Dana Corporation also supplies other powertrain equipment for Jeep models, which include Victor Reinz cylinder-head covers, and Victor Reinz exhaust manifold gaskets.
